This 12 New Things adventure took place at New York's one of a kind Louis Vuitton café. Shonda began her experience with their monogrammed Latté before enjoying a unique chef-designed lunch that definitely pleased her palate.
12 New Things® Leake Street Graffiti Tunnel
12 New Things' creator, Shonda celebrates her birthday and 12 New Things anniversary by participating in the Leake Street Graffiti Tunnel workshop at the Legendary Vaults in London, England.
12 New Things® Champagne in Champagne
Shonda’s new experience took her to the Champagne region of France where she visited the Vueve Clicquot Champagne house. While taking a tour of their champagne cellar, Shonda also learned the unique history of Vueve Clicquot vineyard and its original owner, Madame Clicquot, who was one of the first woman entrepreneurs in modern history.
12 New Things® Breakfast at Tiffany & Co.
While on a trip to New York City, Shonda’s new experience was Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Inside the Landmark, Tiffany’s flagship store on 5th Avenue, the recently opened Blue Box Café by Daniel Boulud gave Shonda the opportunity to channel her inner Audrey Hepburn’s from the classic movie with select sweet and savory items as a well as a light menu of “Holly’s Favorites.” So, take a moment and watch Shonda’s latest new experience, “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.”
12 New Things® Beyoncé Renaissance Tour
When Beyonce's Renaissance concert tour landed in southern California, it became the ideal New Thing opportunity - to experience a concert in LA's newest venue, Sofi Stadium in Inglewood. Dressed in shimmery silver per Beyonce's request, Shonda won the "Aunt Of The Year" award when she surprised her niece, Tyler Scott, with tickets to the concert as a birthday gift. 12 New Things® Sushi Making
Shonda gets hands-on with this New Thing experience when she visited Breakthrough Sushi to learn how to make sushi rolls from scratch. Founded in 2012 by Kaz Matsune, this innovative class used fresh fish, vegetables, and loads of enthusiasm to share with Shonda and the other students his love for the art of sushi. Watch as Shonda creates delicious spicy tuna and rainbow rolls in her own way.
